Internet Safety Day 2026

Percy Class and Donaldson Class enjoyed getting together to learn a bit more about voice Assisstants and how they should not be confused with real people. We listened to a story about a girl called Roo and her new friend, the children were able to work out the new friend was an 'Alexa' and that, as clever as voice assisstants are, we must be careful when we use them and use them safely.

Leprosy Mission Charity Tag Day

On Thursday 1st May we welcomed Wendy from The Leprosy Mission Charity to our school.

The Year 4 children have been looking at the stories from the Gospel, and the story of Jesus and the Leper really stood out to them. They did some research and found the Leprosy Mission Charity and wanted to do something to help. The Year 4 children organised a school Tag Day and managed to raise £152!

We got in touch with Wendy from the charity who was very pleased to hear from us and came in to tell us a bit more about how the money we raised would be used to help people during our worship.

Wendy said "Thank you  SO much for inviting me to speak to your children this afternoon. I'm so glad that they got so much out of the visit and were inspired to keep on being #courageous advocates and making a difference in the lives of other children in our world."

You can find out more about the charity here: https://www.leprosymission.org.uk/
