St Mark's C.E Primary School

Life in all its fullness

We enjoyed working in groups to discuss and record the different sources used to find out about The Great Fire of London. We discovered that pictures, writing and objects were used.

In maths we have been looking at counting in hundreds, tens and ones. We used diennes to make the numbers before writing them.

We made our own creation wheels to help us retell the story of creation.

We had great fun going back to 1666 in our time machine, to interview eye witnesses and find out some facts about The Great Fire of London for our English work.

We used our outside area to inspire our English work. We looked carefully  at the daffodils and came up with a bank of adjectives and phrases to use in our daffodil poems.

Our Christingle service in Kipper Class. We explained what Christingle means and what each part represents. We really enjoyed making our Cristingles.
