Week 3
I hope you all had a lovely Easter! Here is some learning to keep you busy this week. I look forward to speaking to you soon!
SPELLINGS
Here are some spellings to have a look at. Crossword 2 on our class home learning page relates to these spellings so if you haven't already done it, give it a go!
1. exercise
2. ordinary
3. eight
4. particular
5. remember
6. answer
7. history
8. favourite
9. grammar
10. medicine
MATHS
This week is a chance to practise your adding and subtracting. I know you are all fantastic at this! Try some of the questions from the workbook or create your own questions. You could make some 0-9 number cards and pick them out or roll a dice to create 2, 3, 4 (or more!) digit numbers to add and subtract. Just remember, when you are taking away, the biggest number has to go first!
WRITING
Here are some more writing ideas. Remember to use punctuation correctly and check each sentence makes sense!
READING
Here is another reading comprehension for you to try. Have a look at the questions and then read it through looking for key words and phrases to help with your answers. Remember that 3 stars is the most challenging so choose whichever one you feel happy doing. Maybe you could draw a picture or act out your own carnival at home!
SOMETHING ELSE
This week why don't you try getting creative with things you can find at home?
