Life in all its fullness

Week 3

Hello, I hope that you are all keeping well and having plenty of outdoor time in the garden to enjoy this lovely weather.

I have missed seeing you all, as has Mrs Browne and we are looking forward to seeing you all soon. I will be making some phone calls again this week and look forward to speaking to you all and finding out about what you have been up to over the Easter break.

I have added the learning for this week. There are several guided reading comprehensions to keep you busy, one of which I think you will all be familiar with - Tom Moore, a 99 year old man who has raised an incredible amount of money for our NHS. I commend him for what he has done. If you have not yet heard about this news, you will be able to read the newspaper article I have attached below.

Don't forget that I am only a phone call away if you have any questions about the learning. I will as I said, be calling you for a quick chat anyway.

Keep safe and take care,

Mrs Alexander

Here are your spellings year 4, I have sent them as a list for handwriting practise too:

Writing tasks:

Your science task this week is to study the work of Davis Attenborough. I introduced you to some of his work in term 4. You have some fun fact sheets to complete and an opportunity to make your own show which you can perform to your parent/carer. Have fun!

Some fun art to keep you busy which is linked with R.E, the story of Jonah and the whale.
