Autumn Walk

As part of our Seasonal Changes learning in Science, we went on a walk around the school grounds looking for signs of Autumn. We found bare trees, brown, yellow and orange leaves, fungi, berries and a conker.

Whatever Next!

In English we have been reading the story Whatever Next by Jill Murphy. We have sequenced the story and made our very own space rockets for Baby Bear.

We enjoyed harvest by making bread and vegetable soup. Click on a photo and view our gallery.

A Visit from Peggy

Mr Bassett kindly bought his dog, Peggy, in to meet Hairy Maclary Class. We prepared questions to ask Mr Bassett about Peggy and how he cares for her. We are going to be writing a pet guide in English and we can use his answers to help us. We loved meeting Peggy and she was very well behaved.
