Here are some suggestions of things to do to support your learning this week.  I look forward to speaking to you soon!

Here are some spellings for you to try and learn this week, as well as some spelling word mats.

Crossword one links to this week's spellings, the word searches cover a range of the important words for year 3 and 4.

  1. different
  2. circle
  3. recent
  4. reign
  5. potatoes
  6. heart
  7. experiment
  8. famous
  9. believe
  10. experience

Read the text 'Pet Care of a Bearded Dragon'.  If you are feeling really confident look for the 3 stars text and questions.  If you are not so confident, choose either 2 stars or 1 star.   Remember to read the questions carefully!

We will start with a booklet and questions all about place value.  There are quite a lot of questions so try to do a little each day.  Don't worry if you don't finish it all.  You need to remember to use your knowledge of hundreds, tens and ones and think about our favourite word of the day:  partition

You can also access TT Rock Stars and Hit The Button (search for this on the Topmarks website - links on the Learning Platform). These are really good for practising number skills.

Have a look at our Word Of The Week and try to use it in your writing.  Look at the picture below - could you write a story, a description or some instructions?

This week I have chosen a science activity for you to try.  It will combine your science and PE all in one.

Hello everyone, I hope that you are all OK and finding your learning packs useful.  I will update this page by the end of the week with some new activities and also want to remind you to look at the Learning Platform under the Parents tab.  There are lots of links and ideas on there to keep you busy.  Take care, Miss Kirkham
